“Life, Love and Spirit...” has been our guiding philosophy. Life has been brought to so many viewers who have called or written in to testify to how they have been uplifted or touched by the content on tcns. Every week TCN produces 14 ‘live’ local programmes which include daily Mass and in addition, we pre-tape and edit ‘Faith Alive, Faith Insight’ and ‘Morning Prayer’ for Camsel - the communications arm of the Archdiocese of POS. We broadcast for 36hrs. a week over FLOW’s Ch. 10 (EWTN). With the exception of ‘Inside the Vatican’ which we receive from Rome Reports, all of TCN’s shows are local. Without a doubt, our small team of competent employees and a competent and dedicated bank of volunteers, we have succeeded in producing more local programming than any of the existing stations in T&T! Of course, this has only been possible with the inclusion of many, many groups and individuals throughout the Archdiocese who have committed to planning, sharing their time and talent, and starring in the various shows. But the coordination and technical aspect of all the shows has been the daily love, hard work and responsibility of the full cadre of the TCN family.
In 2008, the Archdiocese of POS contracted TCN to handle the production of all local Catholic radio and television. This added a huge additional workload and responsibility on this ministry.
All major events of the Archdiocese are now covered by TCN. These have included the ‘live’ broadcast of The Synod (2009), Ordinations and other major liturgical events, seminars and functions of the various commissions and departments and features and updates on activities.
Our present focus is now on taking the network to another level. Viewers can look forward to new and exciting graphics and an upliftment in the whole image of the station. All for the glory of God! “Trinity tv ...May the voice of God be heard!”
Our hope when we first changed our name (TTN to TCN) was that we would be starting Trinity Radio. In our application to the Telecommunications Authority (TATT) we were to become Radio of Life bringing God’s message to all areas of T&T and reaching far greater parameters than we could with cable tv. However, we were never granted the license and so we explored the World Wide Web. i trinity was born. This opened up a whole new world of possibilities. If we could stream audio on the website, why not stream video too? Embedded in the internet interface was a multi media and communications goldmine!
We hired a full-time manager and part-time IT specialists to jump in to this new digital pool. TCN’s world expanded and now included the modification and re-designing of Living Water Community’s website. Our viewers and listeners now became global and comments and feedback could be messaged on-line on facebook and twitter. Clips could now be posted on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/user/Trinitytvtt).
